1. Do I have to be enrolled in school?  
Yes, a public, private, or home school.

2. Do I have to play a musical instrument or be able to sing?  
Yes.

3. Do I have to be currently enrolled in a music class (choir, band, etc.)?  
No.

4. How old do I have to be to enroll?  
13 or older. If under 13 we must receive a parental and guardian consent form. â€‹â€‹

5. Do I have to major in music for college?
No. You can major in anything you'd like.

6. Do I have to place in Region, Area, or All-State ensembles?
No. Honor ensembles reflect a single audition moment, and talent can be demonstrated in many ways beyond one performance or audition. 
 
7. Do I have to be in my program's top ensemble?
No,  you can be in any ensemble.

8. I'm not in the 12th grade yet so why should I sign up?
  • Get noticed early instead of waiting until senior year.

  • Reduce stress by building visibility before recruiting timelines get tight.

  • Colleges can plan ahead for openings when seniors graduate or students move.

  • Early visibility helps colleges recruit for specific instrumentation needs.

  • Colleges can share studio info, camps, and opportunities years in advance so you can decide if a program is the right fit over time.

9. Should I enroll if I have already been accepted or received a scholarship? 
Yes. You may still receive interest from other schools or additional scholarship offers. You won’t know what opportunities exist unless colleges can see you.

10. I'm already in college.  Why should I enroll?
