1. Do I have to be enrolled in school?
Yes, a public, private, or home school.

2. Do I have to play a musical instrument or be able to sing?
Yes.

3. Do I have to be currently enrolled in a music class (choir, band, etc.)?
No.

4. How old do I have to be to enroll?
13 or older. If under 13 we must receive a parental and guardian consent form. ​​

5. Do I have to major in music for college?
No. You can major in anything you'd like.

6. Do I have to be in my program's top ensemble?
No, you can be in any ensemble.

7. I'm not in the 12th grade yet so why should I sign up?

To get noticed early! No more waiting until your senior year to get discovered!

Avoid the stress and frustration you will have your senior year.

Colleges can have you fill a vacancy when a senior graduates or if a student moves...all in advance, not at the last minute.

Colleges can avoid instrumentation problems by noticing your talent early and recruit you.

Colleges can send you specific information about their music studio, summer camps, concerts, etc. as early as junior high school. This way you can see if they are a good fit for you over the span of several years instead of a few months/weeks.

8. Should I enroll if I have already been accepted or received a scholarship?
Yes. You might get accepted from other colleges or you might receive more scholarship money from another school! You may never know unless you sign up.

9. I'm already in college. Why should I enroll?
The main benefit of enrolling is if you plan on transferring to another college, or if you plan on working towards your Master's or Doctor's degree.

10. Do I have to place in a Region, Area, or All-State level ensemble?
Absolutely not (and we are very passionate about this fact)!
